Brunch at Shopsin's in Essex Market. Yum.
Ova. Bacon, cheese grits with poached eggs.
Country Scramble...before.
Country Scramble...after.
Best seat in the house.
Crochet graffiti bike?
Followed by a walk across the brooklyn bridge to the new Brooklyn Bridge park. It's really amazing that only a year and a half ago this was just an asphalt covered pier.

Recent Pictures...
Just a couple of pictures taken over the last month or so...
Books in the Atlanta airport. I had about an hour to kill before my flight back to NY. I keep on forgetting how different Atlanta is from NYC. All the bookstores in the airport had a section of Christian books in it, no matter how small the store, all of them had a Christian section.
What bothers me about books like this is they manipulate and take advantage the most base fears and superstitions of people.
The New Museum had a very forgettable exhibit by Urs Fischer. The architecture of the building is far more interesting.
I love the look of the tiled women's bathroom
...and finally, a picture of the Aeonium that I swiped from my aunt's place in CA last year. It survived the trip out east and rooted nicely. It's about time I repotted it in a bigger and nicer container.
