I'm typically not the beach vacation kinda girl. But a little blue sky, sun and good friends and suddenly I can hang out all day. Too bad my sun-burned blistered back doesn't agree.
The view from the apartment in Guanica.
San Jacinto Restaurant. Home of empanadas, tasty mystery meat, rice and beans and the ferry to Guilligan's Island.
Warning sign on the way to the ferry. I love how the guy looks drunk.
More San Jacinto Restaurant.
Virgin Mary fountain. Who knew that the BVM and crucifixion imagery has been combined?
Next to where we bought green coconuts to drink.
Ponce, PR is a wonderful and decrepit city with so many abandoned old beautiful buildings. It's too bad we only went there at night, I would have loved to wander the streets during the day.
The phosphorescent bay! One of the most amazing things I've ever seen. At one point, they brought a bucket of the water on the boat and it was like holding stars in your hand.
Night fishing. View from apartment in the evening.
Beautiful black birds. I wonder if these are the equivallent of a NYC pigeon...they were everywhere.
Crashing the Copamarina Resort.
House in Guanica, PR.
