Tricked out bikes, dancing kids...what more could you want in a street fair?

NY Botanical Garden
Floor of library/gallery building.
Spiky what's-it-called plants.
More spiky what's-it-called plants. Gotta say, I really love plants that are spiky and ugly. I hate the boring rose but give me one of these and I'll be happy.
Or perhaps a deep purple iris that looks almost black. When I have a garden, one day, I'll fill it with spiky or black plants with perhaps a few peonies thrown in.
Deep purple parrot tulip.
I'm so pleased with how these images came out...almost like a painting.

Brains and frog eggs
mmm....frog eggs...crunchy brains...
Chinatown drinks.
Lotus and white fonke on the left (tasted like sugary water with chunks of crunchy tasteless things in it. Nasty. Still have no idea what fonke is.) On the right are basil seeds with mango, much more tastier. I even liked the slimy texture of the basil seeds. Slurp slurp.
Piano keys. East Village.

Shadow reminder
A lot has been going on the past couple of days/weeks. Still taking pictures, just no time to post.
3rd Ave and 3rd St, Gowanus Canal. Shadows of what used to exist.
Close up of building (taken on another day).
3rd St, near Gowanus Canal.
Tribeca, corner of Varick St and Laight St. I guess this was for the Tribeca Film Festival. Very cool idea of changing the look of a walk/don't walk sign (check out the black silhouettes on the right too).
